Chillicothe Municipal Utilities has teamed up with Hometown Grid to provide an online outage reporting system that provides real-time updates and a map of current power outages, water leaks, and sewer backups.
Hometown Grid makes reporting outages easier and more accessible for all community members, whether they prefer texting, calling, or viewing outages on a map that features real-time updates.
To report an outage, leak, or backup, Community members will need to text or call 888-906-5510. Those who use the system will be asked to answer a few basic prompts to help utility crews identify the source of the problem and add the address of the outage to the live map. You can then track outages on the map to see when power is restored.
